Hi. My name is Kathy Brewer. This is my 12th year as the Resource Teacher here at East Elementary. Prior to coming to LPS in 1998, I taught in Adams County 14 Schools for one year as well as one year as a long term substitute in Jefferson County Public Schools.  I received my Associate of Arts Degree from Arapahoe Community College in Early Childhood Education. Then, I attended the University of Northern Colorado and received my Bachelors Degree  in Elementary Education. My Masters Degree  is in the area of Special Education/Mild Moderate Needs.

I have two children, Jennifer, a 7th grader at Euclid and Tyler, a 3rd grader here at East. Both of my kids are great students and I am very proud of them.

Meet Chip Reava Speech Language Pathologist:

“Mr. Chip,” as he is know by the students at East, began serving in the position during the 02-03 school year.  His current responsibilities include the identification, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of communication disorders, while functioning as a part of the East Elementary Special Education Multidisciplinary Team.  He works with preschoolers through fifth grade students in a variety of settings including the general classroom, large groups, small groups and individually. He values parent partnerships and is very proud of the progress and success he sees students make on a daily basis. He can be contacted at creava@lps.k12.co.us

I have been working for Littleton Public Schools since 2000, and joined the special edcuation team at East in 2005.  I love being an East Dragon!  I completed my undergraduate degree at The Metropolitan State College, and earned my graduate degree from the University of Colorado at Denver.  I live in Littleton and have one son in middle school and another in college.  Please do not hesitate to contact me by phone or e-mail.
